As a parent, I've tried in vain to find games that are both fun for my kids to play as well as teach them something useful, but there is nothing interesting on the net. Most games are either shoot 'em up, role-play or puzzles with no educational value, and the education ones are often too boring to keep kids interested.
World Treasure Quest is different; it will make learning exciting for children and adults all across the planet. They will travel the world in space and time to achieve goals like finding famous landmarks, places and people, conquering a gladiator from ancient Rome, planting your countries flag on the top of Mount Everest, take a picture from the statue of liberty, raft down the Grand Canyon and hundreds of other challenges that are geographically and historically accurate. Each quest will include several mini educational challenges such as converting your money to local currency, dressing for the climate and custom, learning English or a few words in the local language, collecting facts and history about the location, and all sorts of other cool stuff. The game won't be confined to strictly geography, math or science, it will incorporate knowledge of all forms; everything is on the virtual table.

All challenges will be guided by easy-to-understand help text and
spoken voiceovers in 27 languages. World Treasure Quest is
designed from the ground up to be multi-lingual, and language
packs will be available for various European and Asian languages (see flags above for language).
World Treasure Quest will start small but will grow as new challenges
are added each month to keep kids entertained and brains stimulated. Click the "download" link on the left to download the latest demo version.
